This calendar was created as a fundraiser for the students of Emporia State University's School of Library and Information Management class of 2011. Watch vintage episodes of the fantastical 1980s Nebraska Public Television show "Once Upon a Time." Co-produced by the Nebraska Department of Education and the University of Nebraska in Omaha, the plot revolves around Marion, a librarian who has been kidnapped by a witch who demands a story every day. Each episode, Marion feeds story ingredients into a cauldron and cooks up a book, which she reads to viewers and the witch.

Several of the show's 33 episodes have been uploaded to Google Video, courtesy of Dave Kelly, and can be accessed through this episode guide.
