The University of Kansas has its very own Emmy winner, 2003 film graduate Chris Martin. Prior to winning the Emmy for his special effects work for the television show "Heroes", Martin lent his expertise to KU Libraries to create a library instructional video called Library Revolutions, a spoof on the Matrix films. Take the red book and learn about the true reality of KU Libraries.

Lord of the Libraries, a spoof on Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, is Chris Martin's second film created for KU Libraries. Elves, dwarves, and men battle a brood of librarian castouts while the Hobbits make a mad dash across campus to return The Book of Power, a text 30 years overdue. Not only is the video visually stunning, it is hilarious to watch.
